We formed this group because the board of directors of our healthcare system decided that the way to move forward was to sell the entire healthcare infrastructure of our county to Insight Health, A company in Flint Michigan. We didn't believe that was a very good idea for two major reasons:

1. This would permamently remove local control for our healthcare system.
2. The company that they selected as a buyer has absolutely no track record of operating a rural hospital
