How can a business that has a $12,000,000.00 profit not make money??? An operating income of $150million too!!!!
Find someone else local, like Dignity Health or Kaiser. Insight is a terrible choice!
From doing basic research I can say it of obvious the this company would not be responsive to the community's needs. I do not want our only local hospital to be run by Insight.
Do not sell hospital just get new CEO and CFO!
No to Insight. The article that came out should have stopped this BS in its tracks. I
HHH is a district hospital and should be run by locals..It is a matter of pride for our community.
I have had two procedures done in the past few months at HHH. They were executed very well & I was pleased. I am a life long resident that has never had an issue with any services provided by them. When they couldn
I would prefer better management of Hollister
I want Hazel Hawkins Hospital to stay public. No sellout!!!!
Investigate partnering with Kaiser..
From talking to several people after the election, the wording of measure "X" was very confusing, if not outright deceptive, confusing voters on its purpose. Had I not been following this issue very closely, I too could see how I may have voted "Yes" and also supported Measure "B", two conflicting measures. I think that this was done purposely to confuse voters amd should be investgated
Everything possible should be done to keep HHMH community owned.
It looks like Insight Healthcare forming a non-profit subsidiary to sit between them and Hazel-Hawkins is a sophisticated scam. They would have full control to funnel all H-H assets and profits through it to Insight. Then once H-H is gutted of any value, they can simply disconnect and bankrupt the subsidiary, and move on to another small community hospital to plunder. AND Insight being out-of-state makes it MUCH more difficult to later take legal action against them.
They shut down Stewart hospital in Massachusetts after they bought it! Hear what the staff have to say who have worked with Insight in previous takeovers. Their history tells you that they should not take over our hospital. The CEO should not get a pay raise of $480,000.00, when she has done nothing to deserve it.
Hell NO!!!! We do NOT want OUR hospital owned &/or run by them, or ANY other entity!!
THIS HOSPITAL HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH BUSINESS TO SUSTAIN IT... I WAS IN EMERGENCY YESTERDAY AND HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR A BED... ANOTHER FOUR HOURS FOR THE DIAGNOSIS (KIDNEY STONES), DUE TO THE PATIENT OVERLOAD! I'VE LIVED HER FOR OVER 50 YEARS AND PAID MORE THAN MY SHARE TO KEEP IT WELL-FINANCED!
It seems to me that there are other small healthcare groups in the area that would be a better partner than insight.
Please keep our only hospital within local control!
Hazel Hopkins should be a locally controlled institution. We have a growing community of over 40,000 residents, many of whom are over 55.We need a locally run hospital..
Hazel Hopkins should be a locally controlled institution. We have a growing community of over 40,000 residents, many of whom are over 55.We need a locally run hospital..We voted to keep it local, and it seems as if our vote doesn't count.
As a new resident, I do not have any bias nor previous position. Hopefully my opinion can be viewed as objective. Hollister is growing at an historic rate, increasing pressure on all community resources including our hospital. It must keep pace and strategically position itself as a fundamental community element that provides state of the art/technology capabilities including facilities, diagnostic equipment and medical devices and staff. This objective requires immediate injection of financial resources and a future recurrent source of funding. Keeping operations as is will not be successful in achieving either of these goals. Growth is inevitable and our business and governmental leaders must have vision and wisdom to make decisions that guarantee our community will thrive, not stagnate or fail due to resistance to that growth.
Listen to the Nurses, doctors, staff and patients that use this hospital. Do not sell this community asset. I believe this aquistion will be run to the ground and be used as a tax write off by this out of state company that has no loyalty to this community. Will will be left worse off and without care. We must keep this local!
Get rid of the CFO!!! He is the common denominator. The BOD has had and paid at least 5 financial advisors to explain what he does. What are they paying him for? WHERE IS THE PENSION MONEY?!?!
Everything possible must be c0nsidered to keep Hazel Hawkins a community owned and run hospital.
Hazel Hawkins must stay local
Please keep the assets local and locally owned.
Bias poll with ignorant questions and bias responses. JPA is horrible just creates more layers of morons who know nothing about running a hospital. Seems like it is being ran pretty good to me. Stand alone hospitals are a thing of the past. If you are determined to have it that way, put up the money to keep it going. They need about 50 million in upgrades just to meet min.
If Santa Clara County is capable of operating a County Hospital, we should be able to as well.
I feel they should keep searching for a partnership.
Selling the hospital to Insight is a HUGE mistake! Please look into Kaiser, Sutter Health, Dignity Health, or someone else that's NOT Insight!
I I can
I have not had a lot of need to use the hospital but what little contact has been positive. My complaint has mostly been with the accounting department. Bills have been paid then returned, then payment requested again, then returned and then rebilled again. This has happened two or three times before. The billing department doesn
past Insight history does not give me confidence that they can be successful tilurnubg around Hazel Hawkins , and ensure local priorities.
Although my preference is to keep it local, I am not opposed to a sale to a better buyer than Insight.
I think we should sell the hospital to a different entity. Someone like Sutter, dignity or Kaiser, etc
Do NOT sell our hospital!
Get rid of the current board including the CEO,CFO.
